Bergamont E-Sweep Sport - Ultra Lightweight

Lightweight Frame Design: The Bergamont E-Sweep frame weighs only 17.5kg and doesn't compromise on quality. Reducing frame weights is becoming more important as people expect there be options for lighter frames but they do come at a cost. The main downside to lighter frames is they don't assist quite as much as motors found on heavier e-Bikes. For instance the e-Sweep Sport uses the Mahle X35+ motor, which has 40 newton metres of assistance. Compare that to the Bosch Performance CX and you have less than half the torque power and a range of about 60 miles vs over 100 miles on a Bosch system. What you do get though is a more natural riding experience similar to that of a push-bike. The e-Sweep appeals to riders that want to do more of the riding themselves with a little assistance for the steeper hills and stronger headwinds. Step-in: The Bergamont E-Sweep Sport.
